Barker Kitchen

This kitchen was part of a major overhaul of a double storey home in Plimmerton. The kitchen is located upstairs with access only via a service lift or spiral staircase, so we had to make design decisions around this, and think about how we would get the finished cabinetry and benchtops into the house!

We used Laminex Hi Macs acrylic benchtops, not only for the stunning finish, but because it could be carried upstairs in several pieces and then joined seamlessly on site. The finished benchtop looks like one single piece and the clients absolutely love it!.

There are plenty of accessories to make the kitchen as functional as possible. You will notice 4 rubbish bins, pull out pantries, under bench pull out baskets, and oil and condiment storage solutions.

The gorgeous green tiles are a beautiful design feature which worked really well with the original timber flooring. We teamed the tiles with a subtle glass splashback behind the hob and sink for ease of cleaning.
